The 2010 Battle of Bosworth Cabernet Sauvignon won a Gold medal and then went on to take the Vinpac International Trophy for best McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon at the 2011 McLaren Vale Wine Show. The awards were announced on Friday the 21st October at a cocktail ‘do’ in the old barrel shed at Hardy’s Tintara . Very exciting news for us. Louise went along to collect the trophy and behaved a little bit like a contestant called down from the audience in one of those old-school game shows…’come on down’ – much arm waving and general lack of composure….. Great news and well done Joch on a splendid Cab. This puts us in the running for Bushing, the award for the Best Wine of Show. I wonder? All will be revealed at the Winemakers Lunch on Friday the 28th.
