Battle of Bosworth and Spring Seed Wines opened the doors quietly for tastings and sales on Friday the 12th August 2011.

Our cellar door is an old (1850s) converted chaff shed and stables which has elevated views over our vines looking north to McLaren Vale and west to the Gulf St Vincent.

We are OPEN DAILY:

Monday to Saturday 11-5pm
Sunday 12-5pm

Come and visit us!

Joch can sometimes be found in cellar (though not during harvest) but can get nervous if too many people pile in at once, and Louise can be found in there occasionally.

Jane Arnold runs the cellar door show and works along with the inimitable Rebecca Blythman (she’s the one who cuddles the White Boar when she talks about it). Kelly Fargher can be found here regularly too and you can tell when she is working – she has the best playlists. She loves a cold drip coffee too. Sophie Ambrus the Danish connection, who is studying Viticulture and Oenology at the Waite Campus of Adelaide University has disappeared to work vintage at Boar’s Rock but will be back on a less regular basis after, we hope!

Because we like to keep it in the family, you will also see Danielle and her greyhound Bonnie here too. Danielle is Jane’s sister-in-law…Talking of family, the next gen of Bosworth, Celia Bosworth can be found behind the tasting bench on a Thursday or Friday when lectures allow. Celia is at Adelaide uni studying Wine Science.

Where: 92 Gaffney Road, Willunga SA
When: Monday-Saturday 11-5pm, Sunday 12-5pm
Closed: Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day

Group Bookings: We don’t accept groups sadly as our cellar door is so small.

Dog Policy: SORRY but visiting dogs are NOT welcome here at Battle of Bosworth. Oscar, Tigger and Badger Bosworth welcome human guests but say that the 3 of them is more than enough dog for one place! Please either leave your doggos at home or in the car.

The Bozzie dogs hope that you understand.
