Battle of Bosworth and Spring Seed Wines Cellar Door


We are open for take away sales (no tastings, sadly) from 12-4pm daily. Come in and take away your favourite drops, smile, keep your distance and leave! We are hoping to be back to normal service soon.


After months, if not years of years of dragging our feet and dithering, Battle of Bosworth and Spring Seed Wines opened the doors quietly for tastings and sales on Friday the 12th August 2011.

Our cellar door is an old (1850s) converted chaff shed and stables which has elevated views over our vines looking north to McLaren Vale and west to the Gulf St Vincent. We are OPEN DAILY from 11-5pm.

Come and visit us!

Joch can sometimes be found in cellar (though not during harvest) but can get nervous if too many people pile in at once, and Louise works a couple of Sundays a month. We also have Jane Arnold (who also moonlights as the cheese maker at Second Valley Cheese) , young Katie Whish daughter of well known McLaren Vale winemaker, Charlie Whish, Rebecca Blythman¬† and others… . Emma who runs production and export moonlights on a Tuesday and very occasionally you will see Mark Koen who worked here a few years ago, but can be persuaded to cameo very occasionally when we need him.

GROUPS: We don’t accept groups: Sadly as our cellar door is so small, we can’t accept any groups – they take up too much space!
