Battle of Bosworth and Spring Seed Wines Cellar Door
After months, if not years of years of dragging our feet and dithering, Battle of Bosworth and Spring Seed Wines opened the doors quietly for tastings and sales on Friday the 12th August 2011.
Our cellar door is an old (1850s) converted chaff shed and stables which has elevated views over our vines looking north to McLaren Vale and west to the Gulf St Vincent. We are OPEN DAILY from 11-5pm.
Come and visit us!
Joch can sometimes be found in cellar (though not during harvest) but can get nervous if too many people pile in at once, and Louise works a couple of Sundays a month. We also have Jane Arnold (who also moonlights as the cheese maker at Second Valley Cheese) as well as newbie, Michelle Bath. We also have back up peeps who you will recognise from around the district, such as Erin Stacey and occasionally, very occasionally Ian Adam. The lovely Roxie, doyenne of Administration runs the back end operations and can also be found in cellar door early on in the day, making sure everything is all set up properly for the rest of us.
Where: 92 Gaffney Road, Willunga South Australia
When: Every day from 11-5pm
Closed: Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
