2010 Best of Vintage is a Hot 100 SA Wine

‘the Adelaide Review Hot 100 South Australian Wines is a search for the most drinkable and exciting wines in South Australia, but more than that, the Hot 100 SA Wines is a celebration of South Australian culture, people and places’  James Erskine, Co’ordinator of Judges.

The 2010 Battle of Bosworth ‘Best of Vintage’ Cabernet/ Shiraz/ Petit Verdot was judged in the the top 100 of South Australian wines in October in the ‘red wine structural and savoury‘ category in the 2012 Hot 100 awards.

The wines were judged by an eclectic mix of Australian wine judges, including Sydney based Mike Bennie (@mikerism101) , Dave Brooks from the High Eden (@vino_freakism for those on twitter), ex Coles wine buyer Daniel Parrott , The Age’s Saturday Life&Style columnist Jane Faulkner, Gill Gordon Smith from Fall From Grace in McLaren Vale and the ever ebullient Sharon from Fino in Willunga.

Wines were not judged by grape variety, as is common in Australia’s regional and capital city wine shows, but by wine style. A great result for our ‘Best of Vintage’
