If you fancy a run to the country for lunch, look no further; as one of the closing events of the Adelaide Food and Wine Festival, Sips in the Sticks at Sue Bell’s Glenroy Shearing Shed is sure to be worth the drive.
When? 11.15am sharp on Sunday the 13th April at the home of Bellwether Wines, historic Glenroy Shearing Shed, in the Coonawarra. The lunch is hosted by Max Allen and catering is by the local Afghan community and special guest is Penny Wong.
There are 12 guest presenters (all ladies of course) and the competition is on to take out the dessert comp. I’m making a bread and butter pudding. Best that Corrina Wright from Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards doesn’t win again….tickets are $100.00 per person, you can book here.
