  • I have recently received my order for my club membership.  I decided to try “Dissident” because it sounded interesting.  You can probably see by my order history  that I am more of a red wine fan than white.  But I have just tried Dissident and I am writing to tell you that I really enjoyed it!  I am a fan!  I would like to pass on to all of the Battle of Bosworth team that I really enjoy your wines 🙂

    Thank you!

  • Hi Louise

So far, I have enjoyed the White Boar and the Heretic. But my father in law and I are at present half way through the best of vintage bottle- and it’s excellent. Without giving too many clues, he picked the Cabernet / Shiraz blend. He did however miss the Petit Verdot, but this simply adds to the excitement of learning. Lovely nose, fruit and travelling pretty well from 2011…it’s been an excellent companion to the beef cheeks (in red wine with star anise) and the celeriac & potato bake.

Thanks- they have been lovely. I look forward to  more…keep up the great work.

  • I giant THANK YOU to the very nice ladies who tasted wines for us this afternoon. We had a great experience, met nice people, and really enjoyed your wines! Your approach is old school and just so welcome to us…… where you treat a stranger kindly and exhibit your product honestly and with pride. It’s just so refreshing. Thank you again!

  • I just wanted to let you know we absolutely love your wines and beer!

When we decided to bring our wine purchases inline with our other organic choices we tried many, many wines but simply were not satisfied until I remembered an excellent preservative free wine I tried years ago. At the time all those years ago I knew little about preservative free just that I enjoyed the wine.

We love your whole range, the three tier range compliment each other perfectly and Spring Seed punches well above its weight.

Along with your blogs, updates and quirky tales and explanations it is a great experience all round.

Thanks guys, keep up the great work 😊👍

  • We visited your cellar door last Wednesday during a week long visit to SA – after our car GPS guided us carefully to  Binney Road, we rang and found Gaffney Road – apparently we were taken to one of your vineyard blocks! Anyway, we arrived there bang on 11 am, proceeded to taste some reds and for me, the KI Shiraz stood out immediately. I bought just one and a couple of other bottles plus a tea towel. Great to see where it all happens and the property looked just brilliant.

  • A quaint cellar door, great staff (Jane is so adorable), a long tasting list, and huge rewards for the patient… The wines start light, but as the range matures into depth, the wines are spectacular.

  • The only Shiraz I have tried in a long time was your additive free organic I can’t remember what it was called but we ordered 2 bottles of it at the cellar door and it was amazing but it is the only Shiraz I have had that I didn’t have the urge to vomit after tasting.

  • You make the best Shiraz in the world. > I have never tasted better. Thank-you !!!  Sarah

  • Battle of Bosworth 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon – great wine….purchased 30 bottles… can advise this wine did not disappoint and is excellent….

  • Afternoon Joch! Wanted to let you know that I opened a bottle of your 2004 Shiraz that had been in my cellar for a decade. It was just excellent. Black cherry and plums in the sun, plush in the mouth but still with solid fruit, alcohol really well balanced. A little like Côte-Rôtie but more sophisticated. Made us absolutely murder a rack of lamb.

  • Joch Bosworth is a complete muppet and he smells too. It’s true.

  • I just wanted to write briefly and thank you for a fantastic experience at the cellar door on Saturday. I have been to a lot of cellar doors with groups of all sizes, but have very rarely felt so welcome as Georgie made us feel (even though she was busy with multiple groups at once!). And all the wines were great too – we all came away feeling that we’d found a new favourite! It made the perfect end to a wonderful day.

  • Thanks so much for your email. My box of wine arrived earlier this week – I was quite excited! My partner and I were in Adelaide earlier this year (we live in Sydney, but I am from Adelaide originally) and took a drive to McLaren Vale. We had the pleasure of visiting your beautiful cellar door, it was our favourite by far! It was intimate and welcoming and the wines and knowledge of the staff was fantastic. My partner has a dog just like your groodle, so he enjoyed playing with her and we bought a copy of your Wine Dogs book too! We particularly enjoyed the Aster Pinot Noir, and with Ben’s birthday/our anniversary coming up I thought it would make the perfect gift.

  • We just wanted to thank you very much for existing. I found your wine in a local boutique wine cellar in Sydney CBD late last year and cannot get enough. The Poppy Pinot Grigio is to die for. My best girl friend and I are such a fan of your wine that we are going to make a trip down to your vineyard sometime this year. So look out for two extremely excited city girls.

  • The thing that appeals to me about Bosworth (apart from your amazing wine) is that it’s relatively small and intimate and quiet with beautiful surroundings….

    Amelia Zander, Belair, SA

  • We received the wine and are loving it. My wife has previously ordered some of your chardonnay and I bought another dozen for her birthday. Happy faces all round!

    Mark Wiese, Marsfield NSW

  • I actually took a bottle of White Boar along to The National’s concert last week in Adelaide as I was catching up with the band pre-show. The lead singer is somewhat of a wine buff and had never tried organic wine – he was very impressed with it so hopefully it results in some orders to Brooklyn NY!

    Sam Kelton, Adelaide SA

  • We visited your winery over the Christmas break purely for the name; my wife is a member of the Richard the III Society and so into the history surrounding him and that period. I was always going to buy one bottle of white boar – purely for the name but we came away with a mixed case and two glasses. The wine is some of the best we have tasted in SA and that is saying something. We look forward too another visit soon.

    Russell Fuller, North Adelaide, SA

  • I have never ordered wine online before – indeed I have never ordered a case of wine before! A couple of months ago, a friend and I drank a bottle of your Shiraz at a French restaurant in Darlinghurst. It was so delicious that I asked if I could take the empty bottle home so that I would not forget to drink it again. Thank you for making such beautiful wine!!

    Angela Young, Sydney NSW

  • We had a bottle (or 3) of the Battle of Bosworth 2013 Pinot Noir at a restaurant in Sydney at the weekend and were blown away by it. If you could let us know how we can get our hands on a case that would be awesome as we’re having withdrawal symptoms.

    Jonny Richardson, Sydney NSW

  • Battle of Bosworth…work a strong organic seam in traditional shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay, and also produce an increasingly relevant Battle of Bosworth ‘Puritan’ Shiraz with no added preservatives. The wine has an exciting crimson-purple sheen, ultra-primary fruited fragrance, has beautifully succulent and medium-bodied fruit energy as well as fascinating savoury layers….

    Tony Love, The Adelaide Advertiser

  • I’m looking forward to trying this new vintage. I’ve just put my order in. My partner & I love your wines (probably a little too much lol!) so fantastic to find such great quality organic wine.

    Kerri Wilson, NSW

  • Hoping to come down again around Xmas and buy some more of your fabulous wine and some more glasses. I broke one last weekend (devastated).

    Helen Hayes, NSW

  • My third and fourth carton of BoB Shiraz arrived safely and we’re “tucking” into it! My friends are amazed that a 2013 Puritan Shiraz can taste so good for such a young wine! My son-in-law is a vigneron here in the Canberra district and he introduced us to BoB…great find!

    Ron Forrester, ACT

  • I received my latest delivery of Poppy Pinot Grigio.  Love the freshness of the wine AND that its name is the same as my beautiful 3 yo…Poppy.  She hasn’t tried it yet but loves the labels.

    Phil Beekhuizen, WA

  • I also wanted to say that 2 weeks ago I enjoyed a bottle of your ‘Best of Vintage’ 2010. All I can say is, Great bottle of wine!! Keep up the amazing work.
